Safe And Settled
The house and garden have been risk assessed and checked on a daily basis, to make it a safe environment for your child. Policies and procedures are in place to cover all aspects of the health and welfare of your child. We try and carefully balance giving your child the freedom to be independent and explore with the need to keep them safe.
All staff are well qualified and have DBS checks and references so you can rest assured your child is in good hands.
We start to get to know your child from the moment of your first visit, this continues in the settling in period, and carries on beyond. Prior to your child starting we will talk in detail to give us a good understanding of their likes, dislikes, routine and needs so that we can personally tailor their care to ensure they feel happy and secure with us.
“A wide range of robust policies and procedures are in place. All staff have completed relevant safeguarding training and effectively translate their knowledge into practice. This helps to ensure that children's welfare is given a high priority. “(Ofsted, 2016)
